As for the storyline, as opposed to the Legends, taking place between the events of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur, Soul Calibur IV plot unfold much later, focusing on the history of his father,use the sword Soul Edge to become a hero. However, the sword of his own enslaved by evil forces, forcing to kill his own son.
Around this unfold and many battles. In Soul Calibur IV will present far more characters than in the Legends, but the fourth part of the series will be a classic fighting game, not "change" the traditional genre.
